T'is (soon to be) the season, and nothing says Christmas spirit like preparation. I don't know about you, but I love handing over a present to my friends and family and seeing their faces when ripping the wrapping paper to reveal the gift I have chosen for them.
Despite the end result, buying gifts completely stresses me out!!!
If you're anything like myself then please read on... I have written out some tips that I'm hoping can help you with this issue that I know so many struggle and stress with over the Christmas period.
Subscription
Subscriptions are the gifts that keep on giving. I love receiving my Vogue Magazine and Glossy Box each month, it feels like I'm receiving a little gift from myself in the post. Buying someone a subscription is such a lovely idea because its something that they will receive all year long.
Care Products
Everyone loves self-care, and if someone doesn't love it they still do on a daily base without even realising! Self-care products are a necessity for day to day life and so I think this is a gift that you can't really go wrong with.
Experience
The people who you're buying your gifts for are the people that you love dearly, so why not spend more time with them? The gift of an experience which you can do together is always my favourite to receive. You can cherish the memories for the rest of your life. I love the idea of taking someone to see a theatre show or concert. You could book tickets for the art exhibition they've been dying to see, or book a spa day where you can spend simple time together.
Comforts
Who doesn't love their home comforts? I for one, love going out for long walks in the cold and then returning home to a hot bath and my PJ's to then sit by a fire and watch a film. These are such thoughtful gifts that are so easy to make everyone happy and almost everyone needs them so it's a win-win.
Charity
This is one that my Dad has started requesting more and more each year. It really is perfect for the person who has everything, and it's a brilliant idea as it helps the people who have a lot less than us. At this time of year I start to reflect on how just how lucky I am, and so if me and my family can help contribute to making someone else's Christmas a little bit better it is the least we can do. Make a donation to The Salvation Army or Shelter on their behalf.
I hope this post gives you a little inspiration on what to get for your loved ones this Christmas. If you have found it helpful then please hit the 'like' button.
